The Old Money refers to people, usually young people who have inherited wealth and have a classic aesthetic, usually it is attributed two styles of dressing the Preppy style as the Ivy style that is based on garments of sophisticated schoolgirl aesthetic.

This style of dress can be said to be associated with an ideology, since on the one hand it is connected with the WASP culture (Protestant, Anglo-Saxon, White) in the United States and in Europe with the titles of nobility.

Its origins date back to its popularization in the year 1900 becoming a distinctive form of dress among elite groups studying at private universities in the United States and England.
